So yeah, I'm making an Oppo license plate border, Here's what I did so far.
I first krazyglued all the cracks together, and let that cure for an hour outside.
I then sanded the surface, may need some advice on making a smooth paint finish without the relief of the lettering showing up, and I'm not sure if I should go black or white as the background colour.
I also made a template for a future version of the border on some scrap aluminum. I'll cut it out sometime later.

Man, I'm from Ottawa! Used to live in Westboro, so I'm pretty familiar with Campbell Ford (had the worst car-buying experience there)

8...? I'm from Ottawa. I'm in Halifax now for Dalhousie, but I'll be moving back as soon as I'm done, and my parents still have a place there. It's my real home. <3

Whoa! I've now lost count on how many Ottawa oppo users there are now. amazing that I live in a "hub" of these people.

Also, it's unfortunate you had a bad experience there, that is where the P/O of my Escape bought it 13 years ago.

In other news, a dab of bondo and some high-build primer will take care of smoothing out the frame.
